The purpose of the 24/7 Squad is to demonstrate the characteristics of availability and faithfulness by assisting at A.C.E. Student Conventions with any task needed. Tasks have ranged from registration setup to awards ceremony cleanup and everything in between.

Where did it all begin?

The 24/7 Squad started as a result of a series of sermons at the 2001 South Pacific Regional Student Convention. It began as a concept and has taken on a life of its own, rooted and grounded in God’s Word. The 24/7 Squad is based on four principles found in the following Scripture verses:

Commitment—Jeremiah 24:7

Worship—Psalm 24:7

Obedience—Exodus 24:7

Wisdom—Proverbs 24:7

24/7 Member Qualifications

Squad members are students or graduates who can no longer participate in competition but who still want to be a part of RSC and/or ISC by serving.

They could be students who:

  • Are in school but past the age of competition.
  • Have graduated but are not of the age to sponsor students.
  • Have servants’ hearts but do not have students to sponsor.

Successful applicants must:

  • Be 18 to 30 years of age and have previous involvement in Student Conventions (RSC or ISC).
  • Not be eligible to compete as students at RSC or ISC.
  • Not have responsibilities as sponsors or accompanists for any students attending RSC or ISC.
  • Be willing to volunteer their time 24/7 for the duration of the Convention in any area (including judging, running errands, and stage handling).
  • Be passionate about the purpose and ministry of A.C.E. Student Conventions.
  • Cover their own transportation expenses.
  • Be prepared to use any musical or platform gifts they have at rallies.
  • Have graduated using the A.C.E. curriculum.

    Contact your regional coordinator to serve at a Regional Student Convention or submit the ISC 24/7 Application to become a squad member at ISC. The application for ISC will be available below when registration opens. Allow God to use you at Convention in amazing ways!
